Softek’s PaySmart Virtual SUT offers a viable solution for businesses lacking an IVU-ready POS or ECR system. This application facilitates the registration and submission of sales and IVU (Sales and Use Tax) information directly to the Puerto Rico Treasury Department (Hacienda). To utilize this service, users must maintain an active Fiscal Terminal Subscription with Softek. Those without a current subscription can easily enroll by visiting merchants.softekpr.com and selecting from a variety of service plans.

• Ability to register both Sale and Refund transactions.
• Automatic calculation of State and Municipal Tax amounts, with an option for users to override these values prior to finalizing the transaction.
• IVU Receipt printing capability, requiring a Star Micronics SM-S230I-UB40 Portable Thermal Mobile Printer (not provided by Softek).
• Option to send the IVU Receipt to customers via email or text message.
